Warsaw Information Center
Warsaw Information Center

The project is placed next to the Rotunda building, which is one of the crucial central points in Warsaw and a common meeting place for majority of citizens. The main idea of the project is to increase the attractiveness of this place by creating a multifunctional public square. One of the key issues was to design a connection between the street level and the level of the existing underpass. Therefore the square surface is gently sloping down towards the underpass entrance. On the west side of the public square one can find the Screen of Urban Information, which is a 13-meter high transparent media wall. On the other side, the surface of the square is folded into the Urban Auditorium. The space under the auditorium is designed for the Warsaw Information Center.
